It's like it's not buffering ahead and doesn't start sending a buffer until it has ran out thus causing a delay in stream. The problem is that every 30 seconds to 60 seconds I have like a 2 second pause. This issue is sadly game breaking and I really really need it to be fixed.
nothing else has changed except that I'm back on stable on a new clean install of windows server. I was on beta before the reinstall of my server OS. I seem to have this issue on a brand new install of emby. If you can help me it is really appreciated! I will attach the logs I have recovered from emby. Also I have gigabit connection from server to client so speed issues are not the problem here. Only some episodes from a particular tv show. The problem does not appear with every media.
I'm using the web interface on google chrome to access emby. However, when I try to play some media files the stream plays for about 30 seconds then freezes.Īctually when I hit play for the first time the buffer fills for about 30 seconds then stops and when the time indicator reaches the end of the buffer the stream freezes, then the buffer refreshes for another 30 seconds and once again I freeze when I reach the end. I do not have a lot of things running on the machine and CPU runs at 0% load. I have 16GB of ram and a processor Intel Xeon E3-1231 v3. I would like to report a playback issue on my emby installation.
